Read the original-game hero first
The Fire’s Edge adds the Runaway and Duelist to the original Darkest Dungeon roster. Their detailed Darkest Dungeon II pages can be useful search clues, but they do not confirm the first game’s exact skills, positions, builds, or numbers.
How to use a hero reference
Start with what the release and current class interface confirm, then test the decision that matters to your party.
- 01
Confirm roster and release context
Check whether a class is part of the original game and the installed DLC before looking for a build or unlock explanation.
- 02
Read roles without importing sequel rules
A shared hero name does not make Darkest Dungeon II skills, paths, tokens, or rotations valid evidence for the original game.
- 03
Build from the live skill panel
Use current usable ranks, target ranks, and effect text to evaluate a party. Unverified class rankings and “must-use” teams are not presented as facts.

Current Darkest Dungeon hero coverage
These hero pages cover the Fire’s Edge additions with a visible original-game source boundary. Broader roster coverage will join this collection only after the same checks are complete.
